January 28, 2010 –
Healthy Philadelphia Community Meeting

At the request of the Healthy Philadelphia Board our President and CEO, Maria Frizelle Roberts, will be leading a Community Meeting in North Central Philadelphia that will focus on better understanding the communities’ experiences and concerns around transition of care. Healthy Philadelphia is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to working to solve the health care problems faced by the Philadelphia community. They work to ensure that every Philadelphian can get convenient, affordable, high-quality care in our city.

The event will be attended by community leaders, block captains, religious leaders, and anyone else interested in communicating health care struggles. Healthy Philadelphia hopes to gain valuable testimony from Philadelphia residents about what challenges they have had getting high quality ongoing health care for their health problems and needs.

January 4-6, 2010 – MFR Strategic Planning
We are back and ready to roll in 2010. To gear up for what we hope to be a successful year, the entire MFR team is coming together for a series of internal strategic planning sessions that will aim to clarify our firm’s strategic goals and develop our roadmap for achieving them. Developed by our very own experts – Marguerite Chamberlain and Samantha Flowers – our strategic planning sessions will consist of focus groups and breakout sessions designed to identify our strategic objectives, core strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The outcome of these sessions will be MFR’s 18-month strategic plan.

August 7th, 2009 - Ronald McDonald House Charities
The MFR Team will be visiting the Ronald McDonald House here in Philadelphia to help prepare dinner for families staying there. The facility provides temporary housing and emotional support to families of ill and injured children in the Philadelphia area. The event at Ronald McDonald House was coordinated by MFR staff member, Samantha Flowers. The entire team will be serving as “cooks” for the day and look forward to helping out. We are excited about this opportunity and we know that the event will prove to be a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
